INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY - A FAREWELL TO OUR LOVELY COURSE

This term we have had a different experience with our teacher is Fatma Toköz Göktepe in our

Instructional Technology course. First of all, I owe dear Fatma Toköz Göktepe a debt of gratitude for

changing my vision about how to use technology in classrooms.


Let's talk about the class...

It is obvious that the use of technology in classrooms especially for Turkey is restricted to some

certain issues. Teachers generally use it for making easier their jobs but what about creativity?

There are limitless advantages os technology but teachers can not see from different point of view to

benefit from these advantages. We live in 21st century but how many of us can use technology

inspiredly?

We have many chances to create different methods, strategies, tools, activities for our lovely students.

In this course, I have learned lots of things for making my teaching easier, entertaining and effective.

I have realized that I hadn't been aware of educational blogs and web-sites to create different

activities.

From my point of view, this course should be given to all preservice teachers. I believe topics, tasks,

learning how to create a blog was challenging but useful. I want use all of them in the future as far as

I can. I enjoyed all  Fatma Toköz Göktepe' classes and again thanks  her for all her efforts...
